鞭毛タンパク質フラジェリンのCD2-1、flg22、flgII-28領域を認識して植物免疫を誘導するシステムが様々な植物種に分布していること、また複数のフラジェリン認識システムはその受容体の発現量によって制御されていることを明らかにしました。
