本学の山本将也助手らによる研究成果が、「Bulletin of the National Museum of Nature and Science Series B」（2018年、Vol.44、ページ97-103）に掲載されました。
論文テーマは、「Flora morphology and pollinator fauna of sister species Primula takedana and P. hidakana in Hokkaido Island, Japan」で、非常に近縁なサクラソウ属（Primula）２種に訪花する昆虫相が大きく異なることを発見しましたた。また、花形態の僅な違いが、互恵的な訪花昆虫を選別する上で重要な役割を果たしていることを見いだしました。
