琵琶湖産繊毛虫が固有の藻類を維持することを証明

　バイオサイエンス学科の保科亮助手は、多くの琵琶湖産繊毛虫が固有の藻類を長期的に維持することを細胞内共生藻のDNA解析によって証明しました。
　この研究成果（DNA analysis of algal endosymbionts of ciliates reveals the state of algal integration and the surprising specificity of the symbiosis）は、「Protist」の2016年、167巻に掲載されました。
